EXP Rules
You will gain EXP by simply roleplaying in Roleplaying Areas. You do not get EXP for OOC things such as Character Requests or creating Crafting Formulas. The base amount of EXP gained is 3 EXP per post.
+ Group Roleplaying: This is defined as 2 or more in a roleplay. You will gain +2 EXP, per post, per person that posts in that posting round. You may only gain 15 EXP per post in this manner maximum. You only gain bonus EXP from other participants in the thread if they posted in that round. (If there are 5 people in a thread, but only 3 posted this round, you will only get (3 + 2 + 2 = 7 EXP) for that round of posting. If all 5 post in the round, you will get (3 + 2 + 2 + 2 +2 = 11 EXP) for that round of posting. You will gain bonus EXP in a thread upon learning a Skill (Weapon Skill/Spell). However, you are required to meet the minimum word count for learning the Skill (or if you're RPing solo, 300 words) whichever one is higher. You are capable of learning multiple skills in a single and must meet the minimum required word count for both skills being learned combined. The amount of bonus EXP you can gain is equal to:
+ Rank 2 Skill: +2 Bonus EXP for that post + Rank 3 Skill: +3 Bonus EXP for that post + Rank 4 Skill: +4 Bonus EXP for that post + Rank 5 Skill: +5 Bonus EXP for that post. Upon completion of Quests, you will also gain bonus EXP based off of the Rank of Quest completed. Check the Quest Rules for more information.
+ Rank 2 Quest Bonus: +010 Bonus EXP for completing the Quest + Rank 3 Quest Bonus: +020 Bonus EXP for completing the Quest + Rank 4 Quest Bonus: +040 Bonus EXP for completing the Quest + Rank 5 Quest Bonus: +100 Bonus EXP for completing the Quest This will be claimed in Character Request. You have to be active during your IRL birthday and have opted to state your birthday in your Character Registration. You will be granted a bonus of 50 EXP to 1 of your characters. This may only be claimed once per year. Staff Work Every month, members of staff can claim 30 EXP to be applied to one of their characters for taking time to do staff work. This will only be applied to staff that actively did staff work -- cannot do 1 thing for the entire month and claim EXP for doing staff work for that month. 1000 TXP Bonus Every 1000 TXP a character, you will gain a bonus of 50 XPC. Make sure you claim this in your Character Request. Gift Rewards Gift Rewards will be posted on the site and on the discord. If you qualify for these Rewards, you may claim them. You have to be active prior to the announcement and remain active during the announcement in order to claim the Gift Rewards. Types of EXP
This is a general term for overall Experience. When this is mentioned as a reward, this will encompass both TXP and XPC. When you see EXP, consider it synonymous for both. Total EXP (TXP) TXP is also known as Total EXP. This is simply a running total for how much EXP you have gained. This total EXP is what determines how much EXP you will have upon creating a new character under this specific sub-account. This total will not be lowered unless used as a form of punishment. Experience Coins (XPC) This is the "currency" you use when something states it costs EXP or XPC. This will be used to increase things to make your character more powerful. XPC can be spent in your Character Request and the user is required to maintain how much they have remaining and how much they are to spend when purchasing certain things.
+ Obtaining/Upgrading Racial Skills: You do not start with Racial Skills, you are required to buy them. If the Racial Skill has multiple tiers, you are capable of upgrading it 1 step at a time. + Improving Skill Library Rank: Everyone starts off at Rank 1 in their Skill Library. You may spend XPC to increase the ranking of that Specific Skill Library. Doing so gives you access to higher ranking skills in the Skill Library. + Passives: These aren't obtained immediately. You can purchase pre-made Passives for 250 XPC or create your own for 500 XPC Claiming your EXP
EXP Chart There are no levels due to character progression being locked behind XPC unlocks. |
