New Players Guide

Welcome to the New Players Guide. This guide will guide you, step-by-step on how to create an account and other things for you to have a pleasant experience here in Knights of Eragia RP (KoE RP).

• Creating an Account
  To begin with, everyone starts with 1 Account. They are capable of gaining more accounts as they progress with a character on that account.

• Say Hi!
  Once you have created your account, feel free to drop on by [Hello, Farewell, BRB] and introduce yourself. Not required, but it'd be nice.
  
  
• Join the Discord
  Joining the Discord as an absolute requirement. You don't have to talk to anyone, but you'll need Discord access in order to submit links to get approved. Staff will ONLY grade links that are submitted in the Discord. You can find a link to the discord [[url=HERE]HERE[/url]]
  
  
• Enable HTML
  A lot of functions on the site require the use of HTML and due to limitations of Forumotion, each user is required to activate it on their own.
  

  How To:

  
  
• Create a Character
  You can start that by going to the [Character Creation Forum]. It would behoove you to open up the [Character Creation Rules] in a separate tab. This should guide you through your Character Creation process. If not, you are free to ask for help in the Discord.
  
  
• Create a Character Updates Page
  By this time, once your Character Creation has been approved, a member of Staff will have made your Character Sheet and would have filled in the Character Sheet with all of your character's Combat Information. Once that is completed, you are now prompted to go created a [Character Update Page. Follow the rules in the Sticky on how to do a Character Update. These Updates are vital to your character's progression. As DMs aren't there to constantly guide your progress, you'll have to make Character Updates so the staff can update your Character Sheet.
  
  
• Character Profile
  While not required, this is something that would be of great value to you. You can create a Character Profile [HERE]. Other places may call this a tracker, but we call these profiles. This is entirely up to you what you put in there, but it's generally used to track your ongoing RPs, completed Quests, track your relationships with other characters, update your character's Personality and History. Players may use this Profile as a means to see if they want to RP with your character or not.
  
  
• Begin RPing
  Upon creating your Character, your Character will start in the [[url=Capital City: Florian]Capital City: Florian[/url]] as a new member to the Adventurer's Guild. You will have been assumed to have enrolled into the Guild and can now take on Quests from the Guild. You can start roleplaying anywhere within the Capital City Florian. This is generally the 'homebase' of all adventurers and is the main hub.

That is the VERY basics. You will learn more advanced things as you continue your journey here. Have fun, ask for help if you need it, and write interesting stories here in KoE.
