- Calendar of Eragia:
Calendar of Eragia
The Calendar of Eragia is the same Calendar used within the Scarlet Empire. The idea of the Calendar was brought over by scholars and it's use is now universal throughout all of Eragia to this day. The Calendar tracked the movement of the Dual Moons as they moved across the sky.
Years
Years have only started being tracked upon the creation of the Scarlet Calendar. Anything referred to pre-recorded history is called "Pre-Calendar" and something that would have happened 15 years before the Calendar was made would be referred to as "15 years Pre-Calendar" or 15 PC. Years, however, are numbered after the era.- Previous Eras (in chronological order from oldest to newest)
- Golden Era (74 years)
- Warring Era (239 years)
- Dominion Era (405 years)
- Exploration Era (Current Era -- 84 years)
Months
The years are split into 4 months in the Calendar of Eragia:- Sowing Star This is the month where everyone involved with agriculture dedicate all of their attention to sowing seeds into the earth. The beginning of the crop cycle while the months are cold and slowly warming up. The Star hangs low in the sky but is on the rise. This is their Spring.
- Burning Star This is the month where wildfires are prevalent due to the burning star within the sky. Where the days are hot and the nights are chilled. This is the maintenance month during the crop cycle where farmers are required to water their crops and where the animals thrive. The Star is also on the ascent, reaching it's apex during this month. This is their Summer.
- Reaping Star This is the month dedicated to reaping the crops that they sow. By this time, their crops have matured and it is this time that their crops are harvested. Farmers also begin breeding their animals during this time of year when the Star begins it's descent. This is their Autumn.
- Cold Star This is the month where the land begins to die and snow takes over the land. The need to water the land is overtaken from the falling snow and this is the month where snow-crops are planted and harvested within the same month. All animals are left indoors and this is the month where the bred animals begin to bare children. The Star falls and reach the lowest in the sky in this month. This is their Winters.
Days
Every day is exactly 24 hours due to the very stable orbit of the planet.
Every month has 91 days (equivalent to 3 months IRL). Every year begins with the 1st day of Sowing and ends the 91st day of Cold.
IC and OOC day equivalents- 1st day of Sowing = March 1st
- 1st day of Burning = July 1st
- 1st day of Reaping = September 1st
- 1st day of Cold = December 1st

- Mulia:
Mulia
The island closest to the Point of No Return that surrounds Eragia, the Lost Continent. Located approximately 20 miles east of the Point of No Return, this island became the last stop before adventurers take their final voyage towards Eragia. It is here that Adventurers may change their minds. If they stay on the island, they will promptly be returned to their Port of Call, but for those who brave the Lost Continent, they will go there with no guarantee to ever return. Every Adventurer brought here will spend 3 days within the luxurious resort, giving them time to make their decision to venture forth into the Lost Continent. For those that decide to go forth, they will take their Final Voyage.
When Mulia was discovered in the 2nd Year of the Exploration Era, it was discovered to be desolate with no life upon it. An eerie site where there was no signs of death. Bowls of spoiled food and drink upon tables and other signs of civilization was left behind. It felt as if all life just vanished without struggle and no remains to speak of. This goes for intelligent life and all fauna. This allowed the flora to overgrow and overtake cities. This place still remained a mystery for those outside of the Point of No Return. Due to this, the first explorers built up modern ports, modern amenities, and even trade routes to Mulia.

- Reol:
Reol
The common currency of Eragia. Currency was originally split between the three major nations of Eragia after the take-over of the continent between the use of gold in Aurum, silver in Argentio, and electrum in Platina. However, during the Frontier Age where trading and purchasing became a necessity, it was decided that a single currency will be required to be made. As the hub of trade was in Capital City Florian and their currency was electrum, the rest of the continent adapted use of electrum. The name Reol was given to the new currency.
The gold from Aurum and the silver from Argentio were eventually melted down to create Reol. The triangular shape was also given to ensure the currency had a very different appearance. Reol comes in denominations of 1 Reol, 5 Reol, 10 Reol, 50 Reol, 100 Reol, 500 Reol, and 1000 Reol pieces with their number being etched into the metal with each denomination being slightly thicker than the previous denomination.
Reol only has value in Eragia as nobody has yet to be able to leave Eragia to spend it. Everyone is given a small amount of Reol prior to the Final Voyage. All of the money they had once owned would be used as payment for the Final Voyage and just a few Reol. Everyone starts with X Reol at character creation.

- Turtle Ships:
Turtle Ships
This is the ship that takes Adventurers on their Final Voyage from Mulia, through the Point of No Return and into Eragia, the Lost Continent. These are covered ships with a hard, spiked shell, designed to protect everyone within the ship from the terrifying creatures within the Point of No Return. These ships will have no crew other than the Adventurers on-board. Those that wish to take to the Lost Continent will be given brief instructions on seafaring, leaving it to the Adventurers to penetrate the Point of No Return and to head to the Florian Harbor also known as 'Adventurer's Landing'.
These Turtle Ships are powered by small sails that are controlled from within the 'turtle shell'. However, when traversing through the Point of No Return, the Adventurers are required to row manually. Once out of the Point of No Return, the Adventurers are capable of releasing the sails as the winds will always lead them towards the Florian Harbor.
Turtle Ships are equipped with dried rations, clean water, and grog worth a week's travel. Even if it takes a single day to travel from Mulia to Eragia, it is equipped with just enough in the event of navigation error. While these ships were built strong, they were built at a low cost due to never being able to return back to Mulia.
