Re-Spec RulesA Re-Spec is your ability to completely refund all of your XPC and allows you to re-allocate your XPC. This does not include re-rolling your character's Race, Sex, and Name. Those three things are immutable and unchangeable. If you wish to change either of these three things, you are required to retire/kill this character and reroll your character.
What can be redone during a Re-Spec
You may choose which of the below you want to do. You don't have to Re-Spec everything, only what you want done. Character Stats All of your stats will be refunded, returning all of your stats back to 1. Remember, you only get 84 Stat Raises. Racial TraitsIf your Racial Traits cost XPC to upgrade, it will be completely refunded. You will lose any upgrades to these Racial Traits.Skill LibrariesYou may choose which Skill Libraries will have all XPC refunded. Refunding a Skill Library will return it to Rank 1 -- which means you lose access to Higher Ranking skills in that Library -- even if you have the skill learned. You may also replace the Skill Library if you choose. At this time -- only during the Re-Spec -- you may choose to put any skills into Outsider Skills (assuming you have the slots). This cannot be accomplished outside of the Re-Spec that you lose a Skill Library. You will be capable of using the XPC returned to your wantingAnything Else: Anything else that may cost XPC will also be cleaned out and returned to their start. The user will have to specifically indicate what it is they wish to refund. This will include things like Passives or other purchases requiring XPC investment.
Amount Returned
Depends on what's being Re-Spec'd. Only the amount of investment will be refunded.
How to obtain a Re-Spec
There are 2 ways to gain a Re-Spec: - New Character Re-Spec: You have 1 month from when your character sheet has been created to do a free Re-Spec. This won't cost you a thing as long as it's been used within 1 calendar month from Character Creation.
- Re-Spec Potion: After the 1 month has passed, the user is required to spend Reol on obtaining a Re-Spec Potion. This is bought in your Character Request. All Re-Spec Potions cost 1000 Reol and may only be purchased once every 3 OOC Months.
