Character Request Rules
Character Updates is the most important thing for your character development on this site. Character Updates are what you use to turn-in EXP, spend XPC, and what will be used to alter your character.

Where do I make an Updates Page?
You will make a single Updates Page for yourself in [THIS sub-forum. You are to constantly re-use this thread. It is highly suggested that you place this link in your Signature.

When can I do an Update?
You can do most updates at any time. However, you are only capable of claiming a thread once you have left the thread.

What can I Update?
Various things (in no particular order)

EXP Gain

XPC Expenditure (raising stats, ranking up Skill Libraries, ranking up Bloodline, obtaining Passive)

Reol Gain

Reol Expenditure

Item Obtained (from shop or other player)

Crafting Complete (and claiming items from said crafts)

Changing Name

Changing Character Image in Character Sheet

Training Skills

For below, add the parts that apply to you.

Changing Name [Can be done any time]
You may change your character's last name. It will still be your character. Last Name changes can only be done under certain circumstances such as marriage into a family, adoption into a family, or joining a family in any way. Your character will not change as a result of the name change. Titles, nicknames, etc will not be allowed as those can be roleplayed out.

Changing Character Image in Character Sheet [Can be done any time]
Doesn't, IC, change the way your character look. Cannot be a drastic change such as swapping race. All other features such as hair color, eye color, skin color, etc must remain the same. This is just changing what your character looks like in your Character Sheet. AKA, this is a Faceclaim change -- will not reflect whether others can recognize you or not. If used in this manner, will be punished for abuse.

EXP Exchange [May only claim topics you have left]
Must require all topics you have gained EXP in to be left. You can then claim all EXP gained in that topic. If you are ONLY spending XPC, you may do that at any time. You are required to itemize EVERYTHING including all EXP Gained and their sources as well as itemize EVERYTHING including all XPC Spent and what they are being spent on. If you gained EXP from Skills learned, you must also link to where you learned the skill in EXP Gained Links -- multiple links may be necessary.

Skill Learned
Use this when you learn a Skill (whether Outsider Skill or a Skill from one of your Skill Libraries). If this is an Outsider Skill, state that in the Skill Library field. Add this to EXP Gained

Reol Exchange [If obtained in a topic, you have to claim after you have left]
Gained from finishing Quests or being given in a topic. When doing after finishing a quest, you must have left the quest thread. Then you can claim it. Itemize all sources of Reol gained (indicate source) and Itemize all sources of Reol spent (indicate source). Ensure all links link to all Reol Gain/Spent.

Item Exchange [If obtained in a topic, you have to claim the topic after you have left]
This includes crafting items, giving items, receiving items.

Afterwards
Once you have submitted your Update -- go into the Discord and place this link into the Updates Request Channel. A member of staff will look at it. If approved, a staff member will post their approval and someone with access to updating Character Sheets will update your Character Sheet. If there is a discrepancy, you will be notified over discord and will be notified in your Updates Post.

Extra Note
You will be VERY proficient with doing this! Anything your character gains or loses will be required to have an Update done.
