Adventurer Guild Ranks You will start out at Rank 1 Adventurer (Novice Adventurer). In order to climb up the ranks, you are required to go on Quests to gain AGP (Adventurer Guild Points). You are only allowed to perform quests equal to your Adventurer Guild Rank. (So if you are a Rank 1 Novice Adventurer, you may only go on Rank 1 Quests). Upon completing the Quest, you will gain the AGP for clearing that Quest. Once you have hit the AGP Required, you may be up for promotion. You are a Rank 1 Novice Adventurer. You perform a Rank 1 Quest. Upon completion, you gain 1 AGP. Once you have reached 5 AGP, you will be promoted to Rank 2 Apprentice Adventurer. As you go up in ranks, you will gain decreased AGP for performing Quests of lower rank.1 Rank Lower: You will gain AGP equal to 50% of the AGP gained for doing that Quest2 Ranks or more Lower: You will gain no AGP for performing Quests 2 Ranks and more lower than your current Rank. You are capable of gaining fractional AGP. So you may have 7.5 AGP.
Adventurer Guild Rank-Ups

Upon completing Rank 1 Quests, they will receive 1 Iron AGP for completion of the quest. Once all 5 slots are filled, with Iron AGP, the user can be promoted to Rank 2 Adventurer.
- Rank 2 Adventurer: Upon reaching 5 Iron AGP, the Adventurer will be promoted to Rank 2 Adventurer and will be given an Adventurer's Guild Bronze Coin. Upon completing Rank 2 Quests, they will receive 1 Bronze AGP for completion of the quest. Once all 5 slots are filled, with Bronze AGP, the user can be promoted to Rank 3 Adventurer

- Rank 5 Adventurer: Assuming you want to take the Legendary Adventurer Test, as it has a high chance of death, you will be promoted to Rank 5 Adventurer: Legendary Adventurer. You will be granted a Spectral Coin -- a coin made of a crystalline material that reflects every color imaginable. This is a beautiful art-piece of a coin that very few have obtained and is a massive status symbol. All Spectral Coins are Soul-Bound to the user. Upon making this rank, your character will have a statue of their character made to symbolize the pinnacle of Guild Achievement.
Bonus EXP Gained Check the [EXP Rules] for more information on Bonus EXP Gained.
Word Count Minimum Regardless of how many people are in the Quest, everyone must meet the Word Count Minimum to get credit for the Quest. Not only are they required to meet the Word Count Minimum, they're also required to also successfully complete the Quest Objectives. Legendary Rank (Rank 5) Quests may seem to have a daunting Word Count minimum, but the rewards are more than worth it.
Quest Limits You are only allowed to be in 1 Quest at a time per character. You cannot spam the same Quest over and over again. You may only complete a single Quest once per character. Quests that state they are repeatable can only be repeated once per calendar month.
Claiming Quest Rewards Similar to roleplaying, you are required to complete the Quest, fulfill the objectives, and leave the Quest in order to make a Character Update to claim the Quest Reward. If the Quest has a choice of Quest Rewards (the Quest will specifically state whether you have to choose rewards), you must state your Reward at the end of the Quest.
How to Quest There are a few steps you need to take to actually perform a Quest. You may only Solo a Quest that says it can be solo'd. Otherwise, you'll need a Party. The Party size will be stated in the Quest. You can find a Quest List [Florian Adventurer Guild Quest Board] Each Quest will have a specific location where the Quest will be performed. If the Quest is within Florian, you can just post anywhere in Florian. If the Quest is outside of Florian, you will need to follow the [Travel Rules] in order to get to that specific region/town. Word Count for traveling WILL count towards the Quest's Word Count Minimum. However, you are still required to fully roleplay out the Quest, itself, in the Quest Location. (You cannot use all Word Count during the travel then post 20 words saying 'I slayed the dragon once I arrived at the location' and then quickly run back to town to turn in the Quest). Everyone in the Quest must PROPERLY roleplay out the quest, meeting both the Minimum Word Count as well as fulfill the Quest Objective. Everyone is required to post their Post Word Count at the bottom of each post (for book-keeping purposes). How the Quest, itself, goes is entirely dependent on the party. While the same Quests are done, how each party gets to that point is up to the party (and may be quite different). Upon completing the Quest, 1 person must return to the Adventurer's Guild and turn-in the Quest. Turning in the Quest will require a link to the Quest and all links regarding the quest (travel included). A member of staff will review your Quest and either approve or deny the Quest. Once the Quest is approved, then everyone is capable of turning it in. |
